Chromebook Handbook & Acceptable Use Procedures (AUP)

To support safe and responsible use of technology, all students must review and acknowledge the Halifax County Schools Acceptable Use Procedures (AUP). This form outlines expectations for using school devices, internet access, and digital tools in a respectful and secure manner.

Parents and students are required to sign the AUP form each school year to ensure understanding and compliance with district technology policies.

Students Staff

Media Consent Form

During the school year, designated school staff, affiliated organizations, and media representatives may photograph or record school activities both on and off campus. As a result, your student’s image and name could be captured directly or indirectly. These photos or videos may be used in school publications, websites, social media accounts, yearbooks, news releases, advertisements, promotions, news stories, and other related materials.

This manual contains the official policies of the Board of Education and related administrative regulations of the Superintendent organized by topic. Board policies state positions adopted by the Board of Education to provide direction, control and/or management of its legal functions. Regulations establish procedures and rules developed by the superintendent to guide and direct the implementation of board policy.
